ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS
Technical management
Management and coordination of the Department’s technical and IT staff, activity planning, performance evaluation, staff training and onboarding. Coordination of the use of laboratories and scientific equipment, also in collaboration with other research facilities. Support for procurement procedures of technical goods and services, as well as the preparation of risk assessment documents and emergency management. Management of technical and IT services, maintenance, and space optimization.
Technical-scientific background
Environmental and tree physiology monitoring in
laboratory and forest settings. Development of infrastructures for
meteorological and forest ecology data collection to study plant
water relations. Programming of data acquisition systems and
statistical data processing.
Design and construction of thermal dissipation sap flow sensors
and dendrometers for measuring tree stem dimensional variation.
Development of electronic circuits to support instrumentation and
sensors.
